Quality Enhancement Plan

UMMC has selected professionalism as the topic of its QEP and has developed a plan titled "Professionalism Across the Curriculum; Reaffirmation of a Core Value." This five year program will strengthen professionalism education in the curriculum of all of our schools. Professionalism in health care bridges the technical aspects of what we do with the human aspects of what we do. Re-emphasis of this important bridge will enhance our student's learning experience by graduating a more balanced health care professional who is not only technically excellent but also more engaged with colleagues, with their respective professions, and most importantly with the communities they serve. We invite you to explore this website and become familiar with the QEP. The details of how the UMMC QEP will be implemented are described in the Detailed Plan Document.
